DME Billing Feature: Multi-tasking

Multitasking increases your productivity

Unlike some browser based system which can only open one window, TeamDME! can open as many as you like, as many as your equipment can handle. If you are in the middle of an Order and John Doe calls about his Statement, don’t quit what you are doing. Simply open John’s chart, click on the History tab and see all open Invoices. You can review product deliveries, payments and even Open Orders to be delivered. Make good notes while you are here, so you can remember your conversation the next time he calls.

DME Billing Feature: Lookup Buttons

Lookup buttons make finding things easy

You don’t need to remember codes of any kind in TeamDME!. Anytime you would enter an Item Number, Customer, Vendor Number, etc., you can simply click the Lookup button beside the field to lookup whatever. Plus, if the Customer is not in the Customer List, you can add it from wherever you are.

By entering just a little information such as Name, HICN and HCPCS, we’ll show you if this patient is eligible for Medicare, we’ll also do a Same-Or-Similar check to make sure they have not received this product recently. If they are not eligible, or had a similar product recently, you can inform the referral source and not spend any more time developing this patient.

Print Authorization Documents in a few clicks

When entering an Order for an Oxygen Concentrator, Portable and a Hospital Bed for a Medicare patient, the system knows that you will need an Oxygen CMN, Physician Order and a Cover Letter to the Physician, so it prints each of those appropriately filled out. It can even print the envelope and a SASE if desired. This makes it easy for new Reimbursement staff to get the correct documentation sent to the physician the first time.

Form Letters make communication easy

Communication is a huge part of your day. And wherever you are, Form Letters make it easy to stay on top of that communication. If you are reviewing a Pending Claim and the Physician’s Office has not responded to your request for Patient Notes for 15 days, you can print a Form Letter reminding them that you need this documentation to bill, and even print the envelope and SASE already filled out.
