TeamCloud! (Hosting TeamDME! in the Cloud)
TeamCloud! is the best of TeamDME! and the best of Cloud put together. Everything you love about TeamDME!, plus;
Access from Anywhere
Run it from your office, home or your beach chair while on vacation. You never have to be far away from checking on the office. Okay, you do have to have Internet access, but other than that, anywhere.
Minimize hardware headaches
We are continually amazed by how difficult it is for our customers to keep their servers and workstations running smoothly. It is difficult and expensive. Even finding competent hardware technicians seems to be getting harder and harder. Say goodbye to server crashes, incomplete or improper setup, slow systems, etc.
Minimize backup worries
When customers call with a corrupted database (thankfully rare), our first question is, “when is the last time you had a good backup”, and cross our fingers. You would not believe how many times the answer is, “ahhhh…….”. Well, we make backups for you multiple times each day. We backup to the datacenter, as well as offsite.
Minimize security worries
You need to take precautions on your server for viruses, spyware, spam, bots, etc., and of course we take care of that on TeamCloud! But the biggest threat is careless use; the user clicking on a link that says they’ve won the lottery (you still have to purchase a ticket to win), and downloading malware. Our professionals don’t do that.
Minimize catastrophe worries
If an earthquake, hurricane or tornado destroyed your office tomorrow, what would you do? TeamCloud! is hosted by Amazon.com, there are three datacenters in the US and four others around the globe. If one is destroyed, we can move TeamCloud! to another and be back up and running in as little as a few hours.
Runs Where You Want
Use Microsoft Windows PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone or Linux as your client of choice. Whichever you choose, TeamCloud! runs the same.
If something hinders your access, we are likely already working on the issue. We monitor TeamCloud! every 60 seconds and if it becomes unavailable, we are notified 24/7. But you can call anytime there is a service outage and get a status update.
Minimize update downtime
We do all the updates for TeamCloud! in the evenings and on weekends so we are affecting your workday as little as possible.
TeamDME! Onsite (Hosting TeamDME! at your location)
The Cloud is popular and there are undeniable benefits, but hosting yourself has benefits too.
When considering the Cloud, everybody asks, “What happens if the Internet is down?”, and the answer is “Hope if comes back quickly”. Fortunately that does not happen often, but hosting at your site makes you almost immune to Internet problems. I say almost, because while you will be able to work, you won’t be able to send claims, check patient eligibility, check Same-Or-Similar or other features which require Internet connection.
Your Data, Your Control
Many of our customers like having their data onsite. You have responsibility for the data and protecting it. Being able to “lay your hands” on your data, makes it easier to sleep at night.
Secure as You Want Firewalls, Anti-Virus Protection and Intrusion Detection are all under your control. You can lock the system down as tightly or as loosely as you feel necessary.
Do-It-Yourself can be Less Expensive
Putting the system on your equipment and taking responsibility for backups and updates means you either doing them yourself, or are making sure those activities are done, but that also means you may not be paying someone else to do them. But make sure this is real savings. Sometimes when you consider the hardware purchases and upgrades, software upgrades, firewall configuration and a thousand other things to purchase, plus pay for when things break, you may spend way more than you would have letting someone else take care of your infrastructure for you.
Customization when you need it
We try to insure everything an HME Company needs is included in our system. But sometimes your business is simply unique. If you need to connect your system to your website, or connect it to a shipping system or something else. It may be easier to do hosting your own system. I say may, because there are many things we can do to customize your TeamCloud! system as well.
